Sheyenne County, North Dakota was formed 24 Apr 1862 by Dakota Territory in present North and South Dakota from non-county area included parts of present North Dakota. Then on 11 May 1858 When Minnesota Territory became a state. Sheyenne County was eliminated 17 Dec 1863 when act that created it was repealed and Sheyenne County, North Dakota became extinct. [1]
