Record Description

This Collection will include records from 1860 to 1960.

Collection of digital images of pension classification records for the widows and orphans of Spanish officials. Included in many of these files are wills and birth, marriage, and death certificates. These records are handwritten in Spanish. Records are housed at the Archivo General de la Administración in Alcalá de Henares, Spain.

How to Use the Record

To search the collection you will need to follow this series of links:

⇒ Select the "Nombre del interesado y datos del expediente" which takes you to the images.

Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.

Name are listed in alphabetical order in the "Browse through images" section that is listed on the initial collection page. Select the name (nombre) or date (dato) of your ancestor if they appear on the list of names, and you should see images of those records.
