CLEER, ST., a parish, in the union of Liskeard, hundred of West, E. division of Cornwall, 2½ miles (N. by W.) from Liskeard. 
St Clarus Church St Cleer (Cornish: Ryskaradek) is an Ancient Parish in the county of Cornwall.

Its three-stage tower is 97 feet (30 metres) high and contains a ring of six bells. First built in the year 800 but was rebuilt in the 13th century. The tower suffered damage and was repaired in the 15th century.
