St Columb Major Poor Law Union

St Columb Major Poor Law Union was formed on 9th May 1837 The St Columb Minor Union parish of St Hilary St Issey, Cornwall  was included.

The union comprised the following

Colan, Cornwall Crantock, Cornwall Cubert, Cornwall Mawgan-in-Pydar, Cornwall Newlyn East, Cornwall
Newquay, Cornwall Padstow, Cornwall St Breock, Cornwall St Columb Major, Cornwall St Columb Minor
St Enoder, Cornwall St Ervan, Cornwall St Eval, Cornwall St Merryn, Cornwall St Wenn, Cornwall 

Records

Cornwall Archives and Libraries surviving records include Guardians' minute books (1837-1868, 1871-1930); Deaths (1914-30); Admissions and discharges (1926-33)
