ERME, ST., a parish, in the union of Truro, W. division of the hundred of Powder and of the county of Cornwall, 3¼ miles (N. by E.) from Truro. [1]

St Erme (Cornish: Egloserm)St Hermes is an Ancient Parish in the county of Cornwall.Other places in the parish include: Trispen.

The church was rebuilt in 1819-20 by John Foulston (apart from the tower which is medieval). The font is Norman and there is a brass of 1596 to R. Trencreek and family.The church was rebuilt in 1820, with further work in 1908.
