The current arrangement Family History Library Catalogue for records relating to the Town of Dover and the search filters available does not assist in seeking to comply with the "Parish Records" paragraph content. Those of us familiar with the town are therefore leaving this content for contribution by the Family History Library itself based on holdings and catalogue.

Further research for Diocese of Canterbury parish record holdings and Kent Archives development of the Family History Centre and the 2012 closure of Canterbury Cathedral Archives will delay the development of parish history and "Parish Records" contributions by contributors from Kent Archive material. Is the Workhouse at Dover included in the England, Kent, Workhouse Records (FamilySearch Historical Records) collection and can a link be made to that collection?  Crescunt 23:15, 27 January 2012 (UTC) (see discussion on that page about the extent of the collection)

Some of the Dover Union workhouse records have been published as part of this collection. See Dover Union (Buckland). They are not yet indexed, but are available to be browsed online.Alan 20:07, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
