Since these rolls are spaced between Federal Censuses, they provide a valuable tool for finding information not found in the Censuses. They are even more important as a tool for 1890s for which we have no Federal Census (actually we do have a few, but very few).

A part of this collection is being indexed in FamilySeach Indexing as a Partner Project with the Texas State Genealogical Society.  We should mention in the wiki article and encourage people to go and help index the records and make them available.

An important tool for Texas Research

Since these rolls are spaced between Federal Censuses, they provide a valuable tool for finding information not found in the Censuses. They are even more important as a tool for 1890s for which we have no Federal Census (actually we do have a few, but very few).
