You could actually remove both the first and last lines, and incorporate the span of years into the text, if you feel the collection title isn't sufficient to make that clear.

The first line and last line of the section "Record Description" are inconsistent (as well as repetitive). Is the record span 1812-1905 or 1812-1910?  I would suggest that the first line be removed (including the "electron index"). You could actually remove both the first and last lines, and incorporate the span of years into the text, if you feel the collection title isn't sufficient to make that clear.
