'''Research Extract Forms''' repeat 86% of the things that should be written on ''Research Logs'' anyway. This highly redundant. We would require a really good reason to justify such a redundant form. It is hard to imagine a situation where filling out BOTH a ''research log'' and a ''Research Extract Form'' would be a good use of genealogical research time.

The 14% new material is whether the information is direct or indirect, primary or secondary. These could easily enough be noted on the copies of the material without requiring researchers to fill out what amounts to a duplicate ''research log''.
