  • All Wiki users who are registered and signed into the Wiki can add or remove this template on a page.
  • Add this Outdated template to an article or section page by typing {{Outdated}}
  • Sections of a page could have the Outdated template, or the template could be added for the whole page. Use the optional part parameter to clarify e.g., {{Outdated|part=article}} or {{Outdated|part=section}}
  • When the template is added to a page, the user should consider adding notes to help clarify the content changes that are needed. e.g., {{Outdated|Policy changed in 2008|part=section}}
  • The template will remain on the page until someone has edited the content, bringing the content up to date. The user should also remove the template after the edits are made.
  • A service level is not expected for processing the Outdated flags on pages.
  • If you are using the template only for documentation purposes, you can suppress the Category:Outdated articles by adding a blank category parameter, e.g., {{Outdated|category=}}.
