County Courthouse

History

Parent County

Titus County was created and organized 11 May 1846 from Bowie and Red River counties. Courthouse and all county records were destroyed by fire in September 1895. County seat: Mount Pleasant. In 1873 the present Morris and Franklin counties were created from Titus County.
