Known Issues

Question #1: The Event Type and Year Range (browse point) title does not properly reflect the actual digital record content. Is there a way to determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection?
Answer #1: The following list of known browse point discrepancies describes the event type or year range that actually exist in this collection:

Maryland >
• Allegheny County no 1; A-Lindner, Joseph M.
• Allegheny County no 1; Lindner, L. A.-Z
• Allegheny County no 2; A-F
• Allegheny County no 2; G-Z
The four browse point are erroneously spelled “Allegheny” County, the actual county name is “Allegany”.

Mississippi > Marshall County; A-Z > Images 40-96 contains registration cards from Minnesota.

Virginia > Frederick County; A-Z > Images 3948-5645 contains registration cards from Giles County, Virginia.
