Directories of churches, religious bodies, and religious organizations should also be consulted.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints took a census in the following years:

1847 (in Pottawatomie, Iowa as part of the 1847 Iowa state census of all residents)
1852, 1856 in Utah
up to 1872 among the colonies along the Mormon Corridor
1914, 1920, 1925, 1930, 1935, 1940, 1950, 1955, and 1960 wherever church members resided
