This is Mollie's new test page for England content. It is very much under construction. Many people throughout the world trace their ancestry to England. Church of England parish records began in 1538. The four major kinds of records are civil registration, census, parish records, and probate records. Parish records and civil registration are among the most common record types in English research for locating birth, marriage, and death records.
