Current projects include:

  • on-going research on my Bird, Ralph, Berger, and Weinkauff lines;
    (See my ever-growing WorldConnect database at Rootsweb.com)
  • identifying 19th century photos from old Warren family albums held by the Warrenville Historical Society, Warrenville (DuPage County), Illinois;
    (Check out my Picasa web albums and read my blog about some of the photos and their stories.)
  • scanning, posting, and annotating mid-19th century family letters at footnote.com;

...and keeping up with my kids' soccer, cello, Scouts (and laundry, of course).

I am the Family History Center Director for the Williamsburg, Virginia FHC, and am working to build collaborative relationships with several local libraries in hopes of better serving the Williamsburg genealogy community.

My mantra is "share, share, share." To that end, I am making a concerted effort to scan and post all the old photos and documents that have been entrusted to my care.
