Suggestions to make record clear and searchable:

Hello HawkBlade,

In perusing the candidates for Featured Articles (FAC), I noticed that you were the original contributor and might still have an interest in improving the article, "England Births and Christenings."

Here is my main question and suggestion: I wondered to what "Index" one is referring throughout the article in general and in various categories.  The records would be more easily understood and searchable if "this index" or "the record", was clearly delineated.  The reader can only surmise that "the record" or "index" is connected with the "England Births and Christenings,"  If the reader arrived at a particular heading, the reference would be unclear and confusing.  I certainly do not wish to take upon myself to interpret the originators' references, so would you help and others who created the article help clarify?  Your help and hard work are always appreciated.  Glo

Post script:

Apparently, I am still learning.  As indicated by the first two paragraphs of the link to Known Issues , the Family History Records Collections "you all" or "ya'll" (as we say in Texas) have included in the system were entered years ago before the benefit of the current technology.  As indicated, "what you see is what you get" was the philosophy.  I suppose that eventually information will be updated anyway. Will that be within the wiki or as a FHL project?  Glo
