Record Description

This collection contains Court Records and Marriage Bonds from the National Library of Wales. These records are part of a set of gateway records needed to bridge from the census & civil registration era back to the earlier period when land and property records are required for pre 1841 research. Images are being added as they become available. The collection covers the years 1550 to 1911.

To search the collection, select "Browse through images" on the initial collection page ⇒Select the “Record” ⇒ Select the “County” ⇒ Select the “Volume and Year” which takes you to the images.

Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
