Collection Description

A part of the Western Reserve Historical Society, housed within the History Center in University Circle, the WRHS Research Center is an amazing resource for the academic and for the family history researcher.
The Western Reserve Historical Society Research Center is the premier repository for Cleveland history. One of the Research Center's principal strengths is its manuscript collections, which touch upon every aspect of Ohio history. These collections cover a wide range of subjects, including architecture, business, education, charity and social welfare, farming, immigration, law, military, politics, religion, and transportation. The photographic holdings are vast and cover all subjects dating from the advent of photography in 1839 to the present.[5]

Tips

There are admission fees. One admission gives access to everything on the complex.

Guides
