The state of Yaracuy is located in the center-West of the country and limits by the north with the state Falcon, to the east with the States Carabobo and Cojedes, to the west with the state Lara and to the south with the states Cojedes and Portuguesa.

General Information

The state of Yaracuy is located in the center-West of the country and limits by the north with the state Falcon, to the east with the States Carabobo and Cojedes, to the west with the state Lara and to the south with the states Cojedes and Portuguesa.


The territory of the Yaracuy state belonged to the Province of Venezuela, created in 1527, soon to the Province of Caracas and later to the Province of Carabobo.
