Brigham Young University has become known for its Christian higher education, sports teams, performing groups, and other program. There is one important trait that is often neglected: many people don’t think of BYU as an excellent place to do genealogical research. This webinar will introduce you to the many collections and services available to genealogical researchers at the BYU Family History Library and in other departments of the Harold B. Lee Library.
The second of a three-part series, this lesson will introduce you to the National Archives holdings of South Africa. The class will discuss the types of documents held at the National Archives, and explain how to access the online index to the archives, called NAAIRS. The lesson will explore the National Archives records held at the Family History Library, and how to access those records that are only available at the Archives in South Africa.
