This webinar s designed for those who are just getting started with Hispanic Research. The research process, research logs, search tips, finding aids, and language helps will be presented along with a case study. The class also discusses the important record types for researchers looking for ancestors in Mexico, Latin America, and Spain. This class will give you some ideas of different record types you can use to help identify the country of origin for your Hispanic ancestor who came to the U. S. The examples used in the class are mainly for immigrants who came in the late 1800s and 1900s but the principles are applicable for those who came earlier as well.
