Notes

Richard Poole married Mary Phelps in 1730 in Anne Arundell County, Maryland. His grandson, John Poole, II, (1769-1828) married Priscilla Woodward Sprigg. Three generations of descendants and relatives lived in the Poolesville area before they scattered. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee and Texas.

Includes index to living descendants.
