Roger Williams was born in Cumberland County, Virginia in 1849. He married Cassie Ann Blair 22 February 1775. They had ten children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky and Missouri. Thomas Williams was born 26 September 1712 in Wales. He married Susannah Anderson, they had two sons and lived in Cumberland County, Virginia. His brother, Matthias, was born in about 1727. He married Jean Williams and they had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Tennessee and Missouri.
