John Weaver was born in 1625 in England. He died in 1678 in Surry County, Virginia. He had one known son, John, born in Surry County in 1650. He married Elizabeth Cooke, daughter of William Cooke and Joane Roper, in about 1674. They had three known sons, John Henry and Edward. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina..
