Thomas Swindell was born in about 1604 in England. His father was William Swindell. He emigrated with his father sometime between 1608-1622 and settled in Northampton County, Virginia. Thomas had three known sons, John, Daniel and Timothy. He died in about 1666. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, North Carolina and Indiana.
