George Erion was a rag dealer and farmer in York County, Pennsylvania and later moved to Augusta and Rockingham counties, Virginia. He kept an account book which gave family details. He married Christina Grim and had 5 children. His second marriage was to Elisabeth Hoffmann and they had 16 children.
