Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of John Lynch. He was in Surry County, Virginia 20 Feb 1723. He married Elizabeth & they were the parents of five known children: two daughters, Elizabeth and Nellie, and three sons, John, James and William.. John Sr. died in Granville County, North Carolina in 1757.

Many of the descendants of John Lynch are in the Virginia/North Carolina area.
