Edward Pigg was born in about 1741 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. His father was Charles Filkes Pigg. He had seven known children. He died before 1830 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina and North Carolina.
