William Benton Childers was born on 3 November 1866 in Gallia County, Ohio and died on 24 July 1954 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Abraham Benton Childers and Rebecca Lewis. He married Malissa Ola Rothgeb on 11 July 1895 in Franklin County, Ohio.

Includes facsimilies of original Bible record with accompanying transcriptions and additional research on the Childers family from the records of Jack Childers.
