John Elliott Turner was born 12 July 1875 in Chesterfield County, Virginia. His parents were Marcellus Arthur Turner and Julia F. Perdue. He married Samantha White 16 September 1907 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. They had six children. He died 5 March 1930 in Boone County, West Virginia. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia and West Virginia. Includes Cheatham, Cook, Jarvis, Ozmore and related families.
