Thomas Constant François de Sales Robiou de Mareuil was born 19 November 1769 in Nantes, France. His parents were François Brice Robiou de Mareuil and Charlotte Françoise Lingée. He immigrated to Haiti, where many of his relatives lived, and then to Pennsylvania, finally settling in Chesterfield County, Virginia. He married Francis Baskerville Trabue in about 1786. They had six children. Thomas died in 1853. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in France, Spain, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Cuba and Virginia.
