James Shelton (d.1668) immigrated from England to Virginia in 1610, and later immigrated to Bermuda. At least two of his sons returned to Norfolk County and to Isle of Wight County, Virginia. Descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and elsewhere.
