Notes

Thomas Dewberry was born in 1645 in England. He married Elizabeth. Their sons, Samuel and Giles, were born in Albemarle County, North Carolina. Alexander Walker was born in England in 1620. He married Francis Chesley (1623-1662). He died in 1684 in York County, Virginia. Descendants of these two families, Mamie Lois Dewberry (1889-1961) and Benjamin Persons Walker (1885-1952), married in 1909 in Georgia. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia.
