John Woodson was born in 1586 in Devonshire England. He married Sarah Winston and they had 2 children. John and Sarah died in 1644 in Virginia. Their descendants have lived in Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, Kansas, and other areas in the United States.

Also includes the descendants of Baron DeGraffenreid, 1252-1314. Christopher Woodson born in 1768 in Cumberland, Virginia is the 17th generation from the Baron.

Includes information on the families of Woodson, Harrison, Dishmon, Fain, Queener, and DeGraffenreid.
