This 1982 publication, with corrections, is of the author's 1928 revision of a pamphlet published in 1901; the manuscript revision was placed in the Library of Congress in 1931; the present publisher secured a copy there, and made corrections before this publication.

William Bracken (d.1749) immigrated from England to Philadelphia in 1699, and settled in New Castle County, Delaware during or before 1702. Descendants lived in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, California and elsewhere.
