Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Berry families who descended from Henry Berry (ca. 1600-1677), and his wife, Ann. They came from England and established their family in King George County, Virginia. One of their great-great grandsons, Jesse Wood Berry (1791-1844) was born in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1822, he married Amelia Shanks (b. 1804), and had eleven children: Adeline, Sarah, Louisa, Martha, Harriet, Cynthia, Thurza, John, William, Joseph, and Robert. In 1842, some of their family joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In 1842, they left their home in Tennessee to live with other Mormons in Nauvoo, Illinois. They later moved to Utah. Descendants and relatives also lived in Arizona, Utah, and elsewhere.
