These are the few will register books that survived the destruction of the Public Record Office in 1922. Most of the wills in the Principal Probate Registry were destroyed. Surnames in the books are not in true alphabetical order; they should be searched carefully.
Contains copies of wills received from district registries in all parts of Ireland, mostly under the jurisdiction of the High Court of Justice: Probate and Matrimonial Division.
