Henry Filmer (b.ca.1575) immigrated from England to James City County, Virginia. Philemon Kavanaugh (b.ca.1680) immigrated in 1705 from Ireland to Essex (later Spottsylvania, now Culpepper) County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio and elsewhere. Includes ancestry to 775 A.D. in England, and to 686 A.D. in France.
