Thomas O'Bannon (ca.1738-1801) was a grandson of Irish immigrant Brien Boru O'Bannon (d.1762) of Fauquier County, Virginia. Thomas married Fanny Jennings in 1767 and moved about 1780 to Orangeburg District, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere. Includes some Irish ancestry and genealogical data, plus family history and legend, to about 350 A.D.
