Charles Merryman, Jr. (d.1722) moved from Lancaster County, Virginia to Baltimore County, Maryland and married Jane Long. Their first son, William, was born about 1707. Descendants and relatives lived in Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia, Ohio and elsewhere.
