Microfilm of ms. and newpaper clipping collection (part photocopy, [11] leaves) in possession of Oscar Curtis, Bloomington, Indiana.

Contains family group sheets; census records for the John Weaver (b. 1839) of Richland, Indiana, 1900; research notes; and a newspaper article "Civil War vets met for reunion" [1932].

George Weaver was born in 1762, probably in Pennsylvania, the son of John and Christiana Weaver. He married Barbara Blessing, ca. 1789. They had eight children, ca. 1790-1802, born in Wythe County, Virginia. He died in 1842 in Wythe County. His son, John Weaver, was born ca. 1790 in Wythe County. He married Elizabeth Davis ca. 1822 in Wythe County. They had five children, 1823-1837, born in Wythe County, Virginia, and Monroe County, Indiana. Descendants listed lived in Indiana.
