Includes Althare, Bowyer, Hailey, Holyman, Osborne, Ripperdan and related families.

Ziriakus Fleshman (b.ca.1675) and his family immigrated in 1717 from the Palatinate of Germany to Virginia as indentured servants. They gained their freedom in 1725, and settled on land in Orange (later Culpeper, now Madison) County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Missouri, Ohio and elsewhere.
