Pedigree chart of Hans Georg Von Dresky (1653-1720), Kaspar Friedrich Von Dresky (1654-1735), Paul Wilhelm Von Dresky (fl.1700), Kaspar Adolf Von Dresky (fl.1712), Hans Christopher Von Dresky (fl.1739), and Heinrich Von Dresky (fl.1625) were five brothers living in Germany. Their ancestry in Germany includes Nicolans Dresky (fl.1533), Kaspar Dresske (fl.1497), Kaspar Dresske (fl.1457), and Mr. Dresko (fl.1261). Charles (Carl) George Martin Draeseke (1785-1854), a direct descendant of Hans Christopher in the fourth generation, immigrated to London, England, and married Margaret Basset in 1807. Charles George Martin Dreaeseke II (1812-1888), their son, immigrated to Jamaica and married Martha M. Oldaker in 1844. They later immigrated to Vienna, Ontario in Canada, and their progeny lived in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and elsewhere. Some descendants emigrated from Canada to Minnesota, North Dakota, Colorado and elsewhere in the United States. Some descendants emigrated from Germany and England to South Africa.
Includes Althaus, Arens (Ahrens), Brown, Cohnheim, Downes, Lepwald, McGregor, Parker, Schmitson, Schollmeyer (Schollmeger) and related families.
