Joseph Rothwell, son of Claiborne Rothwell, was born in 1804 in Albermarle County, Virginia. He married Sarah Gillum (b. 1813) in 1831 in Albermarle County. They had seven children, 1832-1850, born in Albermarle County, Virginia, and Christian and McCracken Counties, Kentucky. Includes information about other Rothwell families and connected families.
