Samuel Wilbore married Ann Smith in Sible Hedingham, England in 1620. Their five sons were: Samuel Jr. (1622-1697), Arthur (1623-1624), William (1630-1710), Joseph (1629-1691), and Shadrach (1632-1697). They left Sible Hedingham, Essex, England, for America in 1633 and joined the First Boston Church, in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1638, they moved to a colony in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Samuel's ancestors are first recorded in West Riding of Yorkshire, and later found in Colchester, Braintree, and then in Sible Hedinham of Essex County, England. Descendants and some related families still live in England, and in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and other New England areas.
