This family register was begun by 1811 at Michalin and Fransthal which is located in Volhynia, Russia, later in Poland and now in the Ukraine. The record gives German localities prior to immigration to Russia.
The Mennonite colony immigrated to Kansas ca. 1874-1878.
The record indicates Gnadenberg was near Elbing and Whitewater, Kansas.
The name of the Gnadenberg Mennonite Church was later changed to Grace Hill Mennonite Church.
The family register contains birth, marriage and death dates from ca. 1745-ca. 1940.
