John Hardy was born 1809 in Henry Co., Virginia. He was most likely the son of Joseph or Charles Hardy. John married Sarah Pedigo 24 May 1827 and they lived in Virginia. By the year 1859, John moved his family to Habersham Co., Georgia and died in the Year 1913. Descendants lived primarily in Georgia and elsewhere.
