William Earl Phelps (1886-1981) married Ethel May Trueblood (1885-1968) at Spokane, Washington. He was a descendant of Reason S. and Rachael S. Roberts Phelps. Her maternal ancestors were Simeon Clayton, son of Daniel Clayton (1768-1853), who married Anna Crews (1778-1859) in 1798 at Chesterfield Co., Virginia.
