Ancestors and descendants of John Burke (ca. 1690-1762), born in County Kildare, Ireland. He came to America before his marriage to Lettice Dannelly on Jan. 1723. They married in Middlesex Co., Virginia. He was a landowner in Coochland and Orange Counties, Virginia. Descendants live in Virginia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Oklahoma and elsewhere.
