Sarah Harper (1832-1856) was the fourth child and third daughter of Gabriel Smithers Harper and Sarah Thornton Anderson. She was born in Prince Edward County, Virginia, and married Nathaniel James Terry in 1852. Both the Harper and Terry families have distinguished colonial and Royal ancestry. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, New York and elsewhere.

Includes Boland, Lewis, Taliaferro, Warner, Withers and related families.
